Hussein’s Story

When Hussein, a Syrian Kurd, first came to the Hope of the Nations center, he said, “I’m a Muslim, and I’m going to stay a Muslim”. But after hearing the Gospel multiple times and hearing countless testimonies of other Muslims who had come to Christ, Hussein surrendered his life to Jesus and began a serious and demanding discipleship program.

After months of studying the Bible and being held accountable in his Christian walk, he sensed God’s call on his life to use his voice and his professional musical ability to serve God. It was incredible to see Hussein refuse a high-paying job as a musician in a cabaret so he could serve the Lord for free at the center.

Hussein has continued to be discipled at the center, and is being mentored by a staff member who leads worship there, who he now calls “dad”.

Please join us in prayer that Hussein would continue growing in the Lord, along with many others like him.
